ENGAGEMENT AT STONE RIDGE HOLLOW | TONY + CHELSEA | MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
To say that this is one of my all-time favorite engagement sessions would be an understatement. There’s a couple reasons why; mostly Tony + Chelsea being one of the best and earnest couples I know. They tie the knot in just a few days on Cinco de Mayo this year and I’m showing off their Stone Ridge Hollow engagement session to kick off the celebration!
Tony + Chelsea met about two years ago through mutual friends at their church - Freedom Church in Bel Air. Chelsea had just gotten baptized that day and it could be said that God brought her the perfect counterpart to join in the new life she was starting. I met Chelsea back when she was a young teenage youth kid with a hilarious sense of humor, which thankfully hasn’t changed. Chelsea always resonated with me and I think that might be because Chelsea is so mature for her age. Having to endure tough struggles too young is something her and I share in common, yet her spirit and goofy nature were never stolen away. She treasures those she loves and protects them loyally. Knowing that she has fallen in love with Tony, a sweet, selfless, and compassionate guy makes it easy to see how strong their connection is.
During one of our pre-wedding meetings, I asked them “what is one thing you love about the other” and they shared the same response — they make a good team with an easy balance. Tony said “all of my weaknesses are her strengths”, truly representing how well they fit together. They told me how much they love spending time with each other and how close they’ve grown to Chelsea’s siblings and Tony’s family. Tony + Chelsea always care and seek out what matters most in life, especially in their relationship. But they never take life too seriously, remembering to live in each moment they have.
Why do I love this engagement session so much? First, it was awesome to experience their wedding venue, Stone Ridge Hollow, in a non-wedding setting at a totally different time of year. Second, the glow we had that day was amazing and this set is pure fire. And lastly, because Tony + Chelsea killed it!
I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this Sunday and witness these two officially begin their next chapter together. Congrats you two!
