SUMMER WEDDING IN DOWNTOWN BALTIMORE | MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I have been so excited to feature this amazing wedding and this incredible couple! I'm pretty sure I could write a small book about how awesome Nicole + Adam are but my simple blog post will have to do!

Nicole + Adam's wedding was an absolute dream. Every venue they used was beautiful to photograph at with the iconic Inner Harbor skyline as their constant backdrop. Their sophisticated details, from her "Wifey for Lifey" heels to Adam's surprise Groom's Cigar Humidor, were classic. Not only did they plan their entire wedding in downtown Baltimore, but they highlighted their love for Maryland with their hand-painted MD flag card box and a pick-your-own favor bar with all items from Baltimore's local markets!

I was in awe of so much emotion that was brought to the day. How Nicole's girls pampered her and took care of every detail, even making sure the day flowed perfectly on time. (Thank you Nicky + Brittany!) How Adam's guys gave him a heartfelt toast before heading off to the church and then would subtly glance over as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. How Nicole held her late brother's hat in her hands in the church her late Grandparents were married in. And how Adam's parents couldn't help but smile every time they looked at him. The pride, the pure joy, the full-on celebration that their family and friends surrounded them with was completely deserved.

I never thought that knowing Nicole back when we were just tykes in rec softball that I would photograph her beautiful wedding someday. I love how crazy life can be sometimes, how small world moments work. I don't even look at Adam + Nicole as clients anymore, but as great friends. They're the sweetest, most thoughtful, cry-laughing hilarious people. Since day one I have enjoyed every interaction I've had with them. The booking meeting where we caught up since HS. The sweltering hot engagement session we had with their pups at Gunpowder. Even the time Nicole and I met up to go over wedding details but spent 90% of the night eating chips + guac and drinking magheritas. They've been not only understanding, but so fun and comfortable in front of the camera, trusting me whole heartily because they love my work. There's no greater feeling than having people let go so you can capture them with real, earnest eyes.

Nicole + Adam are the perfect team. They sass each other, they look out for one another, they treasure what they have built together. There isn't anything they can't handle side by side in this grand adventure they're on. I couldn't be happier to have photographed such an extraordinary day and to know such wonderful people.
